Description:

Simply put, it lowers the level of your guitar the specified amount, with a click of a switch...that's it!

Balancing the level your guitar signal is at mid song to get different tones from your guitar or pedals/amp overdrive can be quite annoying at times and just not as accurate as you'd like, especially during quite busy songs.

Example:

You want that clean”ish” sound for the verse and that 'dirty as' sound for the chorus but twiddling your guitars volume between the songs sections isn't giving you the correct sound every time. You might want one of these!
This pedal is essentially the opposite of a boost pedal and will lower your volume by the desired amount when engaged.

Perfect for use just before your drive where it can clean and smooth your drive sound when engaged and then when disengaged normal service is resumed.

Features:

  • Completely passive circuitry means it works without power when you need it to (except for the LED which requires up to the standard 9v DC to work)
  • White LED indicates when the pedal is in use.
  • True bypass switching.

Requires 9V DC power supply (not included) to power the LED, doesn't run on batteries due to the size of the unit.

My Blackstar Dept. 10 Valve boost generates some great low-gain drive, but without a Volume control, will always add a huge (unwanted) 20-30 db boost. With the lazybear Volume Pad placed in the same loop after the boost, I can pick-up the low-gain overdrive at any volume I desire. Also, with the Volume Pad having a switch, I can still use the boost un-altered, to lift the level of my higher-gain pedals that precede it. Small, solidly built, versatile problem solver: I love it.
